The service
Merged Network is a professional network that builds developer profiles from publicly available technical activity and connects companies with those developers.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts are personal.
Profiles and accuracy
You are responsible for the information you submit and the visibility choices you make. Public technical signals may come from connected third-party services and can be incomplete or outdated. Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your work, company or opportunity.
Professional use and outreach
Merged is for genuine professional networking and hiring. Companies must use in-app outreach for relevant opportunities and respect a developer's decision to accept, decline or continue chatting before scheduling.
Acceptable use
No scraping, spam, discriminatory outreach or reselling of profile data. Contact requests must relate to genuine professional opportunities.
Unlocks, payments and credit returns
One contact outreach uses 1 Merged Credit, currently priced at €149 for a one-off purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe. The credit is reserved when an invitation is sent and automatically returned as a Merged Credit—not a cash refund—if the developer declines or does not respond within 7 days. Accepted outreach is not returned. Any subscription shown at checkout renews until cancelled, with access continuing through the paid period.
Intellectual property and your content
You keep ownership of content and profile information you submit. You give Merged permission to host, display and process that content only as needed to provide the service according to your settings. You must have the right to share what you submit. Merged's own branding, design and software remain protected.
Third-party services
Merged can connect with services such as GitHub, GitLab, WakaTime, Stack Exchange, npm, PyPI and Google, and uses Stripe for payments. Those services have their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, content or independent processing.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Merged and request account deletion. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, investigate misuse, comply with law or enforce these Terms.
Availability and liability
Merged may change, interrupt or discontinue features. Profiles and matches provide context, not guarantees. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Merged is not responsible for hiring outcomes, member conduct, third-party data or indirect losses. Rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the service develops. The date above shows the latest version. If a change materially affects use of Merged, we will provide reasonable notice through the service or another appropriate channel.
Governing law and jurisdiction
Applicable law and the competent courts are determined by the mandatory rules that apply to the parties. These Terms do not designate a different governing law or exclusive forum.
Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to Merged Network using the contact details made available on the website.
