Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Merged also uses similar browser storage, such as local and session storage. This policy describes both.
Essential storage
Account authentication uses browser storage needed to keep you signed in and protect access to private pages. Temporary sign-up details may be held in session storage while you complete registration. Disabling this storage can prevent sign-in and account features from working.
Functional preferences
Merged stores your EN or NL language choice in local storage so the site can remember it on your next visit. You can change this at any time with the language switcher.
Analytics and marketing
Merged does not currently set analytics or marketing cookies in the application. There is therefore no analytics or advertising consent banner at this time. We will update this policy before introducing such technology.
Third-party cookies
Stripe, Google or a connected engineering source such as GitHub or GitLab may set their own cookies or browser storage when you open their payment, sign-in or connection flows. Merged does not control those technologies; their own policies explain how they use them.
Your choices
You can clear or block cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Essential account features may stop working. Because Merged currently uses only essential storage and the language preference, there is no separate non-essential cookie consent control.
Duration
Session storage normally lasts until the browser tab or session ends. The language preference and sign-in storage can remain until you sign out, clear browser data or replace the preference. Third-party services determine the duration of their own cookies.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our use of cookies or similar storage changes. The date above shows the latest version. For questions, contact Merged Network using the contact details made available on the website.
